25 years ago, we began this journey in José Ignacio with a simple idea: to cook surrounded by nature, with our feet in the sand and fire at the heart of everything we do.
Over time, Marismo found its own way. The forest, open-fire cooking, ingredients, changing seasons, and people have all shaped an identity that continues to evolve today.

25 years ago, Federico and Natasha imagined a different kind of restaurant. A place hidden among the trees of José Ignacio, where nature wouldn’t simply be the setting, but part of everything that happens around the table.
The warmth of the fire, the sand beneath our feet, the aromas coming from the kitchen, and a personal way of welcoming guests gradually brought Marismo to life.
Since then, many things have changed, while others have remained just as they were.
We continue to cook with that same curiosity, respecting the ingredients, the fire, and the seasons. We still find joy in bringing people together. And we continue to let Marismo evolve, grow, and surprise us.
